The Role
The time went so quick at PwC, which I cannot say for any other job i've had! The people we're positive and patient, always offering me help when I needed it. My internship was 6 weeks which I think is a perfect length of time, however for my last few weeks there wasn't much work for me to do. Thats why i'm giving the internship an 8.
I felt very valued by my colleagues, especially given that every client I work on I receive feedback from my team and then have meetings with my career coach to go over my feedback. I felt highly valued and supported.
Read above!
As mentioned earlier, my first 3 weeks were very busy, however on my last 3 weeks I found myself bored sometimes, as there was literally no work for me to do. I would chase up lots of people I had previously worked on clients with to no avail. Summer is a quiet period for PwC, I am told, so this is understandable. But surely there is a way around this?
I was given a suprising amount of responsibility on my placement, which was a bit daunting at first. I have become more confident, especially with speaking to clients, as I had the opportunity to go to client site's to speak to them directly.
I believe the skills I have developed will help me mostly with my confidence in work space environments. I have learnt so much about how big businesses run and I think this will help me to choose the correct career path in the future!
The Company
Quiet, relaxed.. depends on which colleagues you are with. Sometimes you chat and get no work done. Personally I like putting some headphones in a listening to chilled music to help me focus, which the company seemed happy for me to do. I feel more productive this way.
Very well organised in all respects, other than the fact that I had hardly any work to do for 3 weeks.
The company gave me a laptop, work phone, residential training, my own buddy and career coach. In terms of training and development they didn't hold back from spending the do$h. I felt like the training was kind of a waste of time and money though, I prefer just being thrown into the deep end, I learn quicker this way.

Very appealing! Everyone has the same opportunities here which I love.
The Culture
Yes, but I didn't get involved to much. There have only been a few social events since I joined, alot of which revolve around drinking. Which, after a long day of work I wanted to just go home and crash on the sofa.
Food: Expensive Travel: Not bad at all Alcohol: Extortionate
Leeds is a great night out but getting too old for that stuff..
A few, but as mentioned not many that appealed to me
