The Role
My internship experience at CMRE has been wonderful.
I was included in daily stand ups of the team to give an update on project. I also had bi-weekly 1-2-1 meeting with my supervisor just to discuss how I am doing generally. I was treated just like any other team member.
Full Support and guidance was provided by my supervisor and other team members whenever necessary.
It was a perfect balance of work. I was never given deadlines but main focus was on project's main objective.
It was a stand alone project for internship so I was responsible for whole project from start but supervisor was always there for help and guidance.
I learned a lot of valuable tehnical skills, ideas and professionalism which will help me in future.
The Company
Atmosphere in office was one of my favourite things. very relaxed and everyone around was friendly.
Everything was very well organised, projects are organised well before interview of candidates so you know from the day one what you are working on and what are your objectives.
There were few company-wide personal training sessions held by HR. Our team had a bi-weekly learning meeting where one of the team member teach something new to the whole team and they also organise codeJams on regular basis.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
I would like to go back and work for the company in future.
