The Role
The work I did was very useful and will help me with future work. Some of the work I was given was also very interesting.
At points I felt that I was not needed as all members of the team were very busy but that is to be expected.
I was briefed thoroughly before commencing with my tasks and whenever I asked for help I was given it.
Some days not so much other days very busy.
Certain tasks more than others but overall quite a bit.
ARUP helped me with multiple pieces of software which will be very useful for my final year of uni.
The Company
Very good atmosphere, one I would like to work in in the future
Some days I didn’t have work to do but I understand why and that staff were very busy
They helped me develop by giving me tutorials in pieces of software which I will require for the future
Very nice working environment and the work given was interesting
The Culture
It seemed good and all staff members got along which is what is favoured in a work place
Didn’t spend much during my placement
Newcastle nightlife is good but didn’t experience anything new during my internship at ARUP.
Unsure, was only there a month so didn’t experience much of this
