The Role
I loved interacting with people. This was definitely the best internship I've ever had the pleasure of being in. Everyone was willing to help and really want you to join the company. Bloomberg is very inclusive and diverse, you can literally talk to anybody in the company.
Everyone was being very supportive to how I can build my career, showed me the different paths, allowed me to shadow as many people as I can to find exactly what I'm looking for. I think that the fact that Bloomberg provides a lot of feedback really helped me top excel in the internship, because I implemented those feedbacks and became more efficient.
Everyone communicated clearly about what the expectations were, and if you're ever unsure, you can always reach out to them.
Personally I was very busy. I liked that. I don't like being lazy or unproductive at work. One of my feedback was actually to remember to take breaks and chill to relax abit once in a while.
A lot of responsibility, everytime I was on a call, it was a personal responsibility because i was speaking to clients directly representing Bloomberg. We got to go to client meetings for training and demos. So, that was really amazing! We had also a lot of responsibilities on projects.
The internship and the skills and knowledge i've developed would really shape how I will be in the workplace. It was definitely a great experience working in the largest fintech company in the world.
