Intern Review

I really enjoyed the internship experience at Bloomberg as I was able to learn a lot of new things. I learned a lot about the finance landscape and how different market players work. Further I was able to understand the product portfolio of Bloomberg and the workflow at Bloomberg in Analytics as well as Sales and other departments.

I felt highly valued by my colleagues. At Bloomberg you are surrounded by smart and open-minded people who are treating each other fair and with respect. Your opinion is valued and you continuously get feedback on what you do. Further the structure of the organization allows for transparent communication across various teams and position-levels.

The support and guidance at Bloomberg has been amazing. During your internship you are being connected different mentors, connectors and multiple managers to make sure you continuously receive the support that you need in anything that you do. Further, management and supervisors give valuable feedback which helps you a lot.

You were kept busy throughout the entire internship. The internship program is well structured and allows you to experience different sides of the job in Analytics as well as in Sales. Further, there are various projects throughout the internship which are to be worked on in different groups. Overall very good!

A good amount of responsibility has been given to us interns during the program. We were able to communicate with real clients and were expected to contact clients on a regular basis. Further a lot of tasks and projects were given to us with the expectation to be responsible enough to structure and plan everything ourselves.

I have learned a lot about the finance landscape and the different market players. Further, I was able to develop soft skills. The training during the internship covered all the asset classes and taught us how to use the Bloomberg Terminal as well as the other products that Bloomberg is offering.
