Internship Review

It was a fantastic opportunity to experience the property business in large commercial surveying practice. I enjoyed this internship because I was able to improve my commercial awareness and gain a greater understanding of the challenges in the Real Estate industry. I also benefitted from presentation and pitch skills training.

I felt hugely valued in my internship. They welcomed me into their team, took me to client meetings, networking events and lunches. They even organized a leaving party for me.

At any time on my internship if I came across a problem I could easily speak to a member of my team and ask them. They were also happy to explain the kinds of work they were working on and wider issues and procedures in the property industry.

The work I have done on my masters in the property was heavily correlated with my internship in commercial property. Both mutually benefitting me develop as a person.

This was a very well structured internship. I had regular work from my team and other teams. Also, HR had organized a number of training sessions for presentations and pitches. We even had to conduct a presentation at the end of the internship.

I was pleasantly surprised by the warm, friendly and professional atmosphere in the office.

They offered practical support by being involved in regular work within your team. Presentation skills training and an opportunity to be fast-tracked for an assessment day for the graduate scheme shows that this company was willing to invest in you.

It has been incredibly insightful, speaking to people who actually work within the company as fee earners and getting their real opinion.

Getting an understanding of company values from all levels not just HR, but from the people in your team up to the most senior and other teams and their perspectives of the company.
