The Role
Overall very much so. I was given many different taks to perform which made it very interesting
I was only a summer placement student but was given as much as possible to do and everything I did was helpful to the team.
Any questions I had they would answer straight away. My supervisor would also regularly come and check on me
Always had things to do and was not rushed with deadlines or getting more work done, was all just about learning.
I produced work in which the team would make their designs off of but it was all checked like all work is.
Many life experience skills were gained which I would not have learned at university which will make the transition to full time work much easier
The Company
Lots of hard work going on but had lots of social time at lunch.
Very organised, I turned up and my supervisor had things for me to do for the day.
They taught me a few things but mostly I was helping them out with tasks I could already complete with a little assistance and independent learning so they would have less work to complete.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Financial Bonus
Very much so. Is an extremely prestigious company with lots of projects.
The Culture
A couple of younger people, more social at lunch.
