The Role
I massively enjoyed the work I did on the internship. Specially in some business areas; it was incredibly engaging and fast paced
This varied desk by desk and on how busy they were; I think it’s natural you get on with some people better than others and don’t think this should be seen as a negative
I was given as much support as I found necessary; I don’t think a huge deal of support is needed, it’s good that they trusted us and let us get on with the job
Again this varied desk by desk; some days I was bored some days I had too much overall though I found the balance good
The right level; when your learning you don’t want too much responsibility and don’t want to feel that clients are relying on work you are doing; it’s all part of the learning curve
Definitely skills for life; I learnt so much about the financial markets, businesses and how people work together in a team
The Company
Fantastic atmosphere where everyone was pushing to do their job to the best level and enjoyed that drive
Extremely well organised and ate up
The company invested so much in all of the interns; senior management always had their door open and I really valued that
Company Parties/Events
Really hoping I get a job there!
The Culture
Super good, everyone got on very well and the group was lovely
Expensive, but that’s to be expected in central London
Very good
Very few opportunities, if any
