    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I really enjoyed the placement, had the opportunity to learn new things. Worked on various projects that were really interesting, had the opportunity to see how the projects I work on operate in real time in client meetings and on site.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Everyone is super friendly, will to help! Easy to talk to, feel part of the team straight away. No hierarchy so can talk to anyone at any level.

Building on my excel skills, using applications such as one note, has helped and will continue to help with my organisation.

    The Company

  • Relaxed

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • It wasn't too structured, but the lack of structure allowed for you to venture out and do things that you were interested in. The lack of structure also provided you with the ability to learn about about the different teams within operations consulting and Arup as a whole.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • They hope for you to get the most out of the internship. There's a buddy system, which allows for you to have someone that you can turn to and that will guide you during your time there. Multiple invites to lunch and learns, allows insight into different skills and knowledge about the company.
