The Role
Really enjoyed it, met a lot of lovely people, and worked on very exciting projects.
Invited to lots of social events, really good feedback and help from colleagues.
People gave useful advice and people were always happy to answer any questions. Got a lot of chances to talk to people in other departments and learn more about the company.
Always had work to do, but it never felt like too much where I had to over work or do overtime. Perfect workload
Good level of responsibility for both ADIA and Bath Rugby Stadium projects.
Learnt Revit, AutoCAD, Power BI, Inkscape, MEP knowledge, Building services knowledge and Excel Macros. All of which I did not know before the placement.
The Company
Very social atmosphere, people were always happy to talk
Seemed like there was a perfect level of organisation where I wasn't tied down to any work but enough that I could continue it if I wanted to continue
Lots of time helping us learn new software, very good
Working from home
Not guarenteed a place in the future, but have a good chance knowing people in the organisation
The Culture
Yes, spoke to the other people into the organisation very often
Quite expensive to go out in Bristol, but not too expensive
Good nightlife, not much of a concern to me though
Yes, was invited to plenty of activities outside of work
