The Role
I enjoyed it a lot. It was challenging and interesting
I felt valued by my colleagues and supervisors. My work also felt worthwhile.
Enough support to be able to ask for help when needed but also had a good amount of independence and freedom.
Relatively good balance. There was the odd day where work was slow but thats to be expected anywhere.
Enough responsibility to feel valued but not so much that it was overwhelming.
Very helpful. My work ethic has improved drastically and I will use a lot of the skills I've learnt throughout my degree.
The Company
Mostly fun and enjoyable when colleagues were in and around the office.
Very well. They have been having students for years so know where to start and what work to give us.
Quite well. I was offered various training courses and a group was set up where we could organise our training and development activities with company resources.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
I have been opportunities to come back for summer placements which I will most likely accept.
The Culture
Yes very good. There were lots of other students and young people working there.
Gloucester is a relatively place to live in comparison to other towns and cities in the area.
Below average nightlife in Gloucester and the surrounding area.
Yes lots of opportunities through the job and also through networks within the company.
