The Role
The internship at Arup was a superb opportunity to develop my skills and develop new relationships with fellow engineers
At every step I was aided and guided by my colleagues
My supervisors were always available to give advice and demonstrate correct etiquette and operations
Occasionally I was without work but most time I was content and happy with my workload
A great deal of responsibility was placed on my shoulders and that was key to a thriving atmosphere
The skills I developed will aid me throughout my career without doubt
The Company
Good I enjoyed myself
A great deal of the organisation was down to individuals however all acted with great skill and confidence to comport an atmosphere of great organisational standing
A great deal of time was levied towards the learning of new skills to aid in further endeavours
The company atmosphere promoted good work and a fantastical ethic
The Culture
There was only one other placement student however we got along swimmingly
I lived at home but public transport is very cheap
I never went out
Cricket watching and playing alongside group lunches and dinners
