The Role
From an internship perspective i have been intergrating into the workplace like any other kind of hire, treated the same as any other hire and expected to work as hard and professional as everyone else.
We have weekly meet ups and i contribute to meeting like any other employee. We also have team events together which is nice.
I can contact my supervisor at any point of time and have never had an issue with responses to my questions.
I am treated like any other employee so i am expected to work as hard as my manager and others in my team
I have led team meetings and organised events that have Intel as the sponsor which was a large responsibility to make sure i represented the company correctly.
This internship has changed my career approach and has shown me that you should get to know as much about the company as you can instead of staying in your department.
The Company
Very lively, polite and generally just a good laugh at times
I not only was given responsibility to recruit new interns, i had the scope of work to join other teams and shadow other departments to understand how they work independently and interdependently
Intel enhanced my work skills from day one and are happy to invest into my career development

Swindon... nuff said?
I would say the nightlife can be better. Many pubs around the centre and Swindon is located in the middle of London, Bristol and Birmingham so commute is a great option
The trick is finding the opportunities of your interest
