The Role
The Company
The office is a place for work and so you have to work. But there are always distractions from getting a coffee with friends or a GPTW event (Good Place To Wwork) where they do BBQ, Give away smoothies and chocolates...
There is a 6 week hand over period which allows the old intern to train the new intern - this really helps as you are speaking to someone on your level and can ask them things you may not feel comfortable asking your manager.
Wwhat you get out of any placement depends on what you put in. Intel has loads of opportunities to develop personal and work skills.

I think Intel is a fantastic company to work for as it really reward its staff. For those that work hard during the year prospect of being hired back is very high.
The Culture
Intel hires around 40-50 Interns.
Swindon is not the best place to go out but because there are so many of you its always entertaining!
As stated in the above Swindon is not always the best as its not a uni town. However most people go out every Thursday :)
