About You
It was a really useful project, getting to look at how projects actually work and see how client interactions work. I got to ask lots of questions and the company I was working with was very interesting, so that was enjoyable
I felt really valued and the team I worked for was excellent, they were informative and helpful and provided lots of work and support to do
I had a lot of support, from my team and the HR department, which meant I felt relaxed and comfortable throughout
The skills I picked up were useful in terms of application at my current job and they have helped me become more skilful in my teaching role
The Company
It was quite well structured once I got started but the allocation of the project took a while to be sorted and was a bit last minute
It was excellent and welcoming and inclusive and I felt that the whole team were engaged and interested in their work and supporting me
They gave me excel training which was really useful and provided access to supply chain management only training
It was really informative and I found that the whole thing gave a good insight into what we actually do in the full time role
I learnt a lot in my few days in the company and the rest was spent with the client so I spent more time on that and less in the company
I found it helpful and gave me more clarity about whether it was something I really wanted to do
Everything Else
I was, although it was not as much as I had first thought it would be
There was lots of opportunities for networking and meeting other people. My mentor arranged for me to come along to several events and the social events helped me make contacts who were very supportive and informative
They were good, They were well organised and interesting and allowed me to meet a wide range of people who helped support me during my time. There were summer parties for the company that I worked for so got to meet like minded people and there were also regular drinks and events for learning new skills
I did, this was explained to us and people came to speak about the various things that we could get involved in, although being there for a short time and working offsite meant it was hard to be involved
I would. It was enjoyable, and relaxing and I felt like a learnt a lot. The team I worked in was really friendly and supportive and I felt like I could ask as many questions as I wanted. Overall it was an excellent project
