The Role
A very insightful opportunity to see how a top 4 accountancy firm runs. I got the chance to develop my skills and put my course from university into practice.
I felt that my colleagues really appreciated the work I was doing and were always on hand to help. It felt very much like a team.
I was given any support I asked for and knew they were always there to help.
There was always work assigned to me which I could get on with.
I was responsible for sections of my work and needed to complete these. However, my colleagues were always there to check this for me.
Doing an accounting and finance degree, I could see the skills I had learnt put into practice which was very useful. This should help me in my final year of university.
The Company
Everyone was very welcoming and happy to help.
Very well organised as we all always had work to do and were always working in a team.
The placement started with a small retreat which help us to meet other interns and get integrated into the firm.
Sports and Social Club
Clear path of where the career could take you.
The Culture
There was always opportunity to social and other colleagues were always welcoming
Depending on the place you go it is reasonable
Birmingham is a buzzing city with something always going on.
Monthly socials and occasional football tournaments were really fun,
