The Role
Overall, thoroughly enjoyed it.
My work was always treated with respect and made to feel like I was contributing to the desks.
Welcoming teams, eager to help and all offered their time to teach.
Always had something to do. No culture of presenteeism. Leave when work is finished.
As much as could be allowed with regulatory scope.
Loads of new skills developed, new analysis techniques and writing styles. I study a science degree so involved a steep learning curve for finance initially.
The Company
Friendly and hard-working.
Pretty well organised. Some hiccups with HR but otherwise fine.
Activities, outreach events and talks were all put on outside of just completing work for direct desks and teams. Probably the most valuable part of the whole internship!
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Would be a great place to work.
The Culture
Made some great friends - all had a fun time together!
Central London = expensive! But everyone knows this.
Sick.
Not really as an intern - more so as a graduate I presume.
