About You
Great Insight to what investment management is, a quick presentation with engaging activities through out the day. Such as a trading game to keep us all engaged.
We all were unknown individuals and the group allocation allowed all of us to meet new people. Allowing enough breaks to introduce yourself to new people each time.
The speed networking lunch allowed me to gain insight and speak to the people i wanted to in regards to the recruitment process.
It has more motivated me to work harder and helped to give a better view point with one of my current modules
The Company
Time efficient
Full of positive energy
The firm invested in me by me being chosen to attend the event and developed my trade off skills when short selling a company during the trading games
There was time to ask questions to each guest speaker allowing 10m at the end just for questions which i found quite effective.
We got insight to the additional activities available at M&G
I was unsure about investment management compared to investment banking. However the distinction was made clear after the day.
Everything Else
I got the train from leicester but i was not reimbursed.
Speed networking at lunch. We were given a list of individuals at the start of the day allowing us to target the specific ones we want to talk to.
Networking could've been longer or more clear on who is who. Many people attended this event therefore was hard to find individuals.
Yes the social aspects are important at the culture of the firm. Whereby the firm holds local camp fire days, yoga classes etc..
100%. Great information and a good day out!
