The Role
An amazing year where I was given plenty of responsibility across all my projects. Company culture was pleasant and the industry is lot's of fun!
Whilst it's a meritocratic environment, people around the office are more than happy to integrate and offer support.
My Manager and I had frequent 1-1s in which we assessed my workload and pressure. We were transparent and build a strong rapport.
Everyday was different, whilst I had my core day to day responsibilities, the workflow was unpredictable due to the nature of my role.
I was given lots of responsibility as I had around 5 projects to take ownership and support my team. Throughout the year I had to build reports for internal and external steakholders.
As a result of my placement, I've gained valuable know-how for both the alcohol industry and business practices and operations. Working closely with professionals has enriched my knowledge and confidence to gain further employment.
The Company
The office had a relaxed atmosphere as everybody simple gets on with their work and utilises their time efficiently. It did not feel too corporate which I appreciated a lot.
The role evolved throughout the year and enabled me to choose areas of personal interest. The HR department organised the role efficiently with the head of my team to ensure I was getting the most out of my time with the company.
They allowed me to go to training courses, company conference and take part in brand activation events.

Not sure what roles are available with PRUK, but perhaps working for one of the brand companies abroad is more appealing.
The Culture
This came down to the individuals you became friends with. However there were a few occasions for company events i.e new drink release
Standard London Prices. Chiswick Business Park is limited but there are options along the hightstreet and station is 1 min walk.
There are a few pubs but Chiswick is limited, so best option would be to get the train to central London.
Yes, there were social clubs such as football and yoga.
