About You
I enjoyed it very much. The organisers were so friendly! They hosted many sessions throughout the day that were useful for prospective applicants.
I felt very valued. Each event planned throughout the day had a purpose, and you could tell a lot of thought was put into each part of the day.
A lot of guidance was an offer throughout the day. Organisers made it known that they were always on-hand to help should we have any questions.
I learned a lot about asset management and strategies that potential investors could even put to use in their own portfolios.
The Company
Very well structured. M&GPrudential sent a clear and concise schedule for the day as soon as I was selected for the insight day. A second copy was provided upon arrival.
It was really warm and welcoming. Each of the people we spoke to was really enthusiastic about speaking to us, which made each of the organised sessions much more enjoyable.
They invested a lot. We participated in a trading game, which gave us a sense of how investors respond to news about particular stocks.
It helped a lot. A recurring theme that emerged was M&GPrudential's emphasis on personal development and how much the company invests in its people.
A lot.
Very useful. It reaffirmed that Investment/Asset Management was the route I wish to go down.
Everything Else
Travel expenses were minimal, so did not need to get them reimbursed.
There was a ~1hour networking session during lunch to meet current employees working in different parts of M&GPrudential's business.
They were productive. I got to speak to current graduates and their experience in the application process. I also got to meet senior colleagues to understand their career journey & any tips they would give to prospective applicants.
Yes. Many of the employees asserted that M&GPrudential value their employees having a strong work-life balance. This meant that employees could get involved in many extra-curricular activities both inside and outside work.
Very much so!
