The Role
Deloitte encouraged me to be proactive and pursue opportunities that interested me. The people who work at Deloitte are fantastic and everyone is willing to help and better your understanding.
The community is awesome at Deloitte. Different colleagues would introduce themselves to me, to enable me to learn more about their role at Deloitte and career. Everyone was super helpful.
There's a huge support network of people to ask about any topic you need. I would say there is little guidance on what you should be doing day-to-day. The onus is very much on you as an individual to find work.
If you are a proactive person there is so much you can do at Deloitte.
I worked on projects for clients and went on secondment for 2 weeks.
Deloitte invests a lot in you as a person. The networking skills were invaluable.
The Company
Fantastic office, everyone was very welcoming and supportive of me as an intern.
Pretty badly organised. Student recruitment aren't helpful and are impossible to contact. However, once you get to meet your department, things start to pick up.
Massively, I was able to sit in on meetings and network with anyone in the company. I learnt an enormous amount.

Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Appealing. Deloitte is definitely a great company to work at.
The Culture
Yes, I made friends over my placement. Really depends on how outgoing you are as a person.
Pretty expensive, the City of London is not cheap! The remuneration does cover this though.
London is awesome, I highly recommend to anyone who's not based in London.
Yes, I went to a few talks outside of the office with colleagues.
