The Role
Great work experience in a leading consulting firm. Client-facing exposure as well as insights into consulting best practices
Enormously valued by my colleagues as I was offered to return after finishing my studies.
My coach and line manager and the project manager were extremely reachable via email, skype or other platforms.
Normally working from 9 to 6, but there were times where I had to stay for a little longer.
A lot of responsibility as I was made one of subject matter experts in a software that is very hot in the market.
The skills in project management and ability to manage multiple priorities will assist me in my degree completion as I will be able to work more productively.
The Company
Very friendly atmosphere. Everyone is welcoming and reachable. Lots of social activities as well(not only drinking).
It was organised quite well. Had to sit on the bench for a while, but I utilised the time to gain skills that would be useful for future engagements.
The firm invested a lot of money into me. Over 5 weeks of induction training, multiple online and classroom trainings.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Working from home
Very appealing as you are offered to rejoin the firm after you finish your placement year. Conversion rate is VERY high.
The Culture
Yes. My fellow placement colleagues felt the same. All of them received a conversion offer(from those that I knew).
It was pretty cheap as I worked in NI. The cost of living is way less as compared to London.
Very good. Irish people love their pubs and culture. Every day you can find something new.
Yes. I supported local charities and played football on recreational level.
