About You
The insight day at M&GPrudential was extremely valuable and enjoyable. I found it highly informative, as it gave unique insights into the selection process and the key features of large divisions at M&GPrudential. The event was also engaging, by involving us in an investment game and giving us the opportunity to network with employees of M&GPrudential and the HR. It was definitely the most useful insight day I have attended.
This was an insight day so this question may not really apply to it. However, I feel valued as I was aware that they were listening to my questions and concerns and genuinely wanted to help me and the other students.
Again, this was an insight day so this question may not really apply to it. However, I received information and insights useful for my application.
The information I received, especially during the networking session over lunch, is extremely useful to me for the application process.
The Company
The insight day was really well structured and alternated the investment game with presentations. Time flew by with a very tight schedule.
The general atmosphere was friendly and energetic. All the speakers, whether junior or more senior, were really engaging: they shared their knowledge and experience with passion.
Again this was only an insight day so I didn't have huge expectations on the firm to invest in me. However, I greatly appreciated the time they dedicated to us and the passion they showed.
I believe that the employees who joined the networking session, as well as the speakers and the HR, gave a fair picture of the culture of the firm and the life at M&GPrudential. I was impressed by the passion they showed.
Same as above. The networking event was particularly useful to understand the real company culture.
The content of the day was well balanced and really useful to make up my mind on my career path.
Everything Else
This was an insight day so I did not expect to be paid for it.
There was a networking session during lunch and plenty of other opportunities to raise questions to speakers and HR.
A very good number of employees joined the networking session over lunch and they were available to answer questions and give insights about the application process or the life at M&G Prudential.
I found out about team activities during presentations and it showed the real team spirit. Apart from that, I don't know of any other activities such as volunteering day. However, I'm sure that if any of us had raised this question they would have given us more information about this.
I would definitely recommend this insight day to any student and, indeed, I have already recommended it to people at my University. Compared to other insight days I have attended in the past, I found the M&GPrudential insight day extremely informative and useful, especially in terms of networking with M&GPrudential employees.
