The Role
I really enjoyed the friends I made in my branch. I still see outside of work due to the friendships we made. The hours were long but you didn't mind due to the people you meet. The challenges keep it interesting, with so many customers you get create some great stories. The company develops a great culture of support to help you get contracts throughout the business.
Head office are really welcoming and aim to make you feel valued and invested in. In branch I had two different experiences. The first was amazing, meeting my assistant manager and fellow management trainee. They had so much time for my questions. We spend the days working together, making each laugh and aiming to improve each other the best we could. The other experience in branch was very different and slightly negative. My assistance manage moved branch and we got a new manager. Who didn't align with the supporting and friendly culture that I had previously experienced up to that point.
Head office and the whole culture at enterprise is created towards developing you! The support is amazing , You can email or text almost anyone in the company for help or support. You get whole days at head office to provide you with the knowledge and confidence to perform well and succeed. In branch my assistant manager and fellow trainee gave hours each week to support me in my training folder. Me and fellow trainee worked together everyday to learn about company and improve each other. Which was the best part of my internship.
Very busy, its a real work experience! You work long works to meet customer expectations. However, this is explained to you throughout the recruitment process. The company managers weekends very well and understands you work long hours. They try their best to help you balance your social life with a the large work load.
As much as I asked for! From finance to marketing to customer service. You are opened up to a wide range of opportunities and responsibilities. In branch you are given areas to mange like marketing or bad debt. You get a real sense of achievement when your targets are met for these areas.
The skills you develop at Enterprise match with my studies perfectly. Understanding demand and supply of the industry. The importance of customer service and expectation management. Finally, the feeling of a supportive and friendly company's culture which you can't feel unless you've worked there in the culture. The skills I've developed at Enterprise will always benefit me in my career.
The Company
This should be ten stars because the people in my office were amazing! They made me feel so valued and we had the best time in the office together! However, when the new manager came to my branch the atmosphere really changed. I thing this doesn't represent Enterprise manager in anyway and is an anomaly. however, the atmosphere became very negative and suppressed.
Enterprise is very well organised and the branch run well together. Interaction with head office is helpful and seamless. Communication is key to the success of Enterprise. There is a well oil system of communication and organising in place across the business. They do lose one star here for the amount of what's app group chats and the fact I didn't get any business cards!
In almost every way they could! You get three full days training to start your placement. Followed by more at 30 and 90 days. You able to email or text your area manger at anytime for support. My area manger was great invest time in people across the whole area. Plus head office are just a email away.

Enterprise only recruit from with the company. The future opportunities are massive and that is clearly laid out for you. The activity seek to have you back after the placement. Stories of how other senior employees started out in your position really motivates you towards staying at the company in the future.
The Culture
There is a massive feeling of social belonging with fellow students and trainees at Enterprise. Area nights out and group chats help to develop this scene of friendships. You develop close friends at enterprise who can trust to help you in your place if you never have a problem or need support.
I lived at home so there was any cost for me. Enterprise pays for you travel if you have training in head office. They away provide really good food for training too. The cost is very little and enterprise pays for most of it, if not all. Including meals and drinks.
Great, you go on a night out have training at head office. Which is interesting and starts to develops friends in the company. Area nights out are great fun and you feel part of one very weird large family almost. There is always the pub at the end of week too.
Enterprise does a lot of charitable work for you to get involved in. This includes walks or pie in the face events. In my area there was a football group and other sports groups you could join. This was support my area manger and was fun to get involve in.
