About You
I really enjoyed my vacation scheme. I felt that I gained a really useful insight into life at the firm and the atmosphere was totally welcoming and friendly. I also really enjoyed all of the social events that the firm put on and felt these were a great way to meet other interns and future colleagues!
I definitely felt valued during the scheme and was really impressed by the efforts that staff put in to make sure I understood everything I was doing and was kept busy.
I received a lot of guidance during the scheme; even though my supervisor was incredibly busy he made sure to make time to always explain everything he was doing to me and give me tasks to do. I felt that I could always ask for help if I was confused.
The skills I learnt will be incredibly useful when I begin studying the GDL and when I become a trainee at the firm.
The Company

The atmosphere during my vacation scheme was really friendly and encouraging. I felt that everyone made a big effort to include me and answer any questions I had and I generally felt that I fitted in well at the firm.
The firm put a lot of effort into workshops and talks that were useful in learning new skills and gaining knowledge and insight into the industry.
I feel that I came out of the scheme with a really good view on what a career at the firm would be like.
I feel that I gained a really good insight into the culture at the company which was sociable, hard-working and diverse.
Invaluable - I decided to accept the training contract that the firm offered to me; a big step in my future career path.
Everything Else

Very fun and a good opportunity to meet new people!
Yes - I had a meeting with the leader of the A&O choir and attended talks about other activities the firm runs.
Definitely. I found the vacation schemes really enjoyable and I gained invaluable experience and insight into the legal industry.
