The Role
I loved going out and getting involved with multiple teams. Everyone was very friendly and so professional it was a fantastic insight into the industry.
I never felt a burden and everyone was very patient and understanding and helpful.
I had to teach myself however I didn't mind. Managers were helpful in directing me to the resources I needed and in some cases they did actually teach me which was very kind of them especially during their busy work schedule.
Some days work lacked as there was not anything for me to do
Nothing that was too much pressure but enough so I felt my work was valued and worth while and beneficial to the team. A perfect balance for someone with no experience before hand.
As soon as I arrived back at university I immediately started using skills I'd learnt to benefit my degree
The Company
Professional and hard working. Sometimes it would be quiet as s everyone was working so hard and other times it would be relaxed as people went off for lunch.
It was seamless to the point it didn't feel like I was an intern and instead an employee like anyone else.
I don't know what the company fully invested in me however it felt like there was valuable time dedicated to teach me skills I needed to do my job as best I could.
Flexi Time
Healthcare/Dental
They're very possible as I have been offerred to go back next summer!
The Culture
Yes! There was one apprentice there of which we got on well and spent our lunch time breaks together.
I live at home and commuted in (I didn't pay anything)
No real nightlife. I didn't go out as I was tired from working all day.
There was mention of other activies going on but there was nothing ever arrnaged for theme I was there.
