The Role
Enjoyable and rewarding experience, given significant responsibilities and visibility to senior management.
I was a valued member of the finance team and worked closely with various colleagues. I was given the opportunity to input on several projects throughout the year.
Line Manager was always able to offer support with any questions. Shadowing allowed personal development throughout the year.
Relatively busy mostly. However, work flow changes depending on the wider business. Somedays could be busier than others.
Responsibility was given from day one to meet your own deadlines and tasks and present to managing directors and senior stakeholders within the business.
Overall gained key work experience and personally developed in key areas such as excel, communication, team working and analytical skills.
The Company
Opportunities to see and learn more about the wider range of the business were given. Also, courses were given on Project Management fundamentals.
The Culture
There is a group of around 10 placement students. Go for lunch or drinks together etc.
