The Role
- inspiring to observe world-class engineers design complex structures - involved in many projects (insightful)
- everyone was very welcoming - everyone was very friendly - was not shy to ask for help when needed as everyone was 100% willing to help
- 100% - easy to communicate and collaborate with management & supervisors - they were always on supporting me and explaining design standards for me to learn
- always given work to do along with support - everyday I got to learn something new
- I was trusted even with high profile projects
- industrial knowledge definitely helped me in my design courses
The Company
- professional but at the same time fun
- very organised - properly structured and tailored to my goals from the beginning
- the company gave me 100% training as if I was already a full time employee
- currently in the process of my application to return to the company
The Culture
- the "early careers team" was always close to each other - activities such as lunch, coffee and career development meetings helped us develop meaningful professional relationships
- Chelmsford, Essex - generally cheap
- did not stay pass 9pm as it takes me 2 hours to travel back home - thus, not much nightlife experienced
- plenty - constant invites to sport events, birthday celebrations and barbecue parties
