The Role
Overall great experience as part of a close team. A company that treat's its interns like full-time employees (people even offer to make YOU coffee sometimes :) )
The environment makes you feel like a part of the team, not as an outsider looking in. Input is valued and taken into account and you are given the opportunities to take part in discussions on where the work will be taken next.
Very strong support by everyone, most people are quick to respond to emails and messages with queries even if you are not part of the same department, although sometimes it can be hard to get useful information. Support from my line manager and supervisors leaves nothing to be desired, excellent on that end.
Overall very busy, but it's a role where you need to want to be busy in order to be busy. There is always work to be done. the relaxed environment makes it much easier to meet deadlines and get through busy days because even in days of stress it doesn't come across a
Great variety of responsibilities in and outside my degree. Great chances to dip fingers in a lot of pies and get to know what you like to do
Overall excellent opportunities to learn and understand the different skills required to work alongside people to reach a group goal.
The Company
Relaxed, but a great emphasis on work
Very well, some external factors hindered the first week but nothing that was in the control of the management team
There is a strong emphasis on coming back in the event that you are a good fit for the company (not necessarily in the same position etc.)
