    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I really enjoyed it. not only did I get an insight I got the chance to work professionally and happily. it was not what I wanted to do straight away but that showed me that working can quickly get you from a to b as well as having a great time whilst doing work.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • I felt very welcomed and I felt like I was working with close friends rather than people I has just met. they even tried to lay things on suddenly as they would in a professional workplace so that I don't feel bad about things that I got let off for whilst I was only doing the insight.

    4/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • only as much as I needed to get back on my own two feet and do things to a standard which was acceptable. I feel like it could have been better when it comes to this seeing as it was my first time and I hadn't done that type of work in the time that they required me to do it in.

    3/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • this was very helpful in terms of developing my time management skills and the information received was not overwhelming. it helped me to clean up my engineering skills and help me see what I can do to make myself better and adapt to my environment. sometimes work isn't having the best tools but managing it the best way you can to succeed.

    4/5

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • very well structured in my opinion because it allowed me to see what I need to work on and how I need to work and react in professional work place as well as help me to gain greater understanding of how to get back up if you don't manage to do things as planned. I would recommend a bit more help though

    5/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • I got to do what I like doing best although not straight away but really quickly compared to how i would have done should it come to real life and how to do that as well as that it was extremely exciting and exhilarating to see everything in action

    5/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • they invested a lot but in my opinion they could have put in a bit more money in terms of resources and how they presented most of their presentations. they were really good at providing time and help however resources such a tools and materials were limited and could have been of a better quality.

    4/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • they fully helped me to understand roles within the company what it takes to get to them what you have to do i them and how to understand what is going around you whilst working/ it also gave me a greater insight of the worker act and how everybody no matter who or how they are, are treated correctly

    5/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • quite a bit to be fair and honest it told me that the company is a working family and how the company won't tolerate any fallouts/arguments in the professional workplace and how ethics build up the community that surrounds us whilst we work. it also created a greater knowledge of the culture not just social but environmentally.

    4/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • very valuable and so much so that i am firmly fixed on the career that it offered and the pathways that open up to me through those careers. it has allowed me to broaden my view on the possibilities that it holds and how those possibilities open up possibilities with possibilities.

    5/5

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • they gave me an amount off of my final student loan and was told that if i applied i would have a higher chance of getting in due to the placement being at their company and me having previous experience in the work area that the company had to offer.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • some but not much seeing as the company hadn't yet expanded that much and is privately owned by somebody and hasn't created partnerships or bought that many companies. this resulted in a bit of disappointment as a lot of opportunities were open in that career however it had minimal opportunities of getting in touch with others

    2/5

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • they were quite dry to say the least however it was still quite fun and they did have some opportunities

    2/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • yes there were quite a bit and mot of them were interesting to me and showed possible better and exciting careers

    4/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • ye but if they want to look for maximum opportunities then they shouldn't go there

    4/5
