About You
Such an informative event! Covered a lot of priceless content and tips from empowering women in well broken down sessions!
Although it was a virtual event, the questions were answered thoroughly and extensively! Well worth future applicants' time and will ultimately be very rewarding in the future.
I received a lot of guidance. Every session was filled with useful information, especially the details about the summer internship. I was told about a lot of what I would expect during an internship, which naturally makes me want to apply!
There was a detailed session that taught us the impact of personal branding and not falling into the "imposter syndrome" trap, something I subconsciously did. With the information, I can now reflect on my work in a more positive way!
The Company
Very well structured. The timing of each session was perfect, allowing me to make comprehensive notes about the firm whilst also having my questions answered by the panel and the staff. Breaks in between sessions made it even easier to focus!
If I had to describe the atmosphere in 3 words, I would say it was informative, efficient and enjoyable. Although the event was virtual, I could feel the energy and enthusiam of the hosts, which implies how enjoyable and rewarding the office culture could be!
I would say that the company definitely invested a lot of time and effort into the program. The event was initially supposed to be face-to-face, but due to the government guidelines, this wasn't possible. It was encouraging to see that the company transformed the event into a virtual one, and I still felt that the event provided me with more than enough information about the firm!
As mentioned, although the event was virtual, I could feel the energy and enthusiasm from the hosts and the panel, all of whom answered questions with comprehensiveness. This really helped me to understand how enjoyable and rewarding it may be to have a full-time role with EY. Very encouraging!
I felt as if the enthusiasm of everyone when talking about their work made me understand how the company culture is one that promotes personal well-being as well as results. Many from the panel also expressed how flexible it is to work at EY, something I feel is very important as the way businesses operate changes.
Everything Else
The event was virtual.
Definitely! I would recommend this event to everyone who is unsure of whether they want to work in a global company. With so much information given and questions answered comprehensively, it certainly gave me a deeper understanding and insight into the business functions. I would highly recommend to everyone who wants an insight!
