About You
The experience I acquired during the 2 months was incredible, as well as the atmosphere in the workplace. Nomura exceeded my already high expectations.
My manager was always there for me when I needed anything and I was listened to by my colleagues.
Whenever I needed assistance I could reach out to anyone in the firm and I would quickly be assisted.
My manager gave his best to fit my projects to the degree I'm studying. In addition to that, I was working on programs that are an industry standard.
The Company
The insight consisted of a 3 week training prior to joining the desk which was enough in addition to the weekly events organised by the HR desk.
The atmosphere was always positive and encouraging. Very professional, but there was also time to be a bit more laid back.
The firm made us go through the iBank training at the beginning of an internship. The rest of the internship, I had access to various courses and help from the colleagues.
The insight was online, so the living costs weren't the same as if I visited the office, but in terms of the environment, I had a chance to experience day to day life in the office.
Extremely Helpful. My manager was always there to support me and the HR team was swift in solving any problems.
The content was very valuable, however, I think I'll need at least one more internship experience in order to compare the two.
Everything Else
Yes.
Yes, I was free to get in contact with anyone from the firm, and there were organized online meetups.
There were plenty of them with a lot of interaction and very fun.
I was notified of any group that I could join as an intern as well as the ones I'd e able to join fulltime.
Absolutely. I would recommend this insight to anyone interested in IT. Great Experience
