  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I found the internship really interesting and it gave me a very good insight into what RBS GBM does.

  • Everyone was very friendly.

  • We were given copius amounts of information by our management to ensure we could make the most of the week.

  • It is quite different going from uni into a working day. We generally started at 8 and finished around 6.

  • It was mainly work shadowing, so responsibility was minimum.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The week has provided me with invaluable experience which will no doubt be useful later in life.

  • Generally was very friendly and people would have a laugh.

  • Very well organised.

  • They put us up in high standard accomodation and provided food every day. So they invested a lot.

  • If I proceed to the summer internship my future employment prospects are good.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There were several networking events put on throughout the week.

  • RBS provided the accomodation and provided drinks during the networking events.

  • Based in London, so it was generally very good.

  • Not particuarly.
