The Role
I found the internship really interesting and it gave me a very good insight into what RBS GBM does.
Everyone was very friendly.
We were given copius amounts of information by our management to ensure we could make the most of the week.
It is quite different going from uni into a working day. We generally started at 8 and finished around 6.
It was mainly work shadowing, so responsibility was minimum.
The week has provided me with invaluable experience which will no doubt be useful later in life.
The Company
Generally was very friendly and people would have a laugh.
Very well organised.
They put us up in high standard accomodation and provided food every day. So they invested a lot.
If I proceed to the summer internship my future employment prospects are good.
The Culture
There were several networking events put on throughout the week.
RBS provided the accomodation and provided drinks during the networking events.
Based in London, so it was generally very good.
Not particuarly.
