  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • The three day virtual spring program was packed with sessions, ranging from hearing from MDs speak about their current work in the business, hearing about the wide variety of business groups in ICG, as well as being able to ask questions during Q&A sessions with alumni. The informative sessions meant I was able to gain a better understanding and take in a lot of valuable information.

  • Everyone was engaged and it was great to hear people at Citi answering all of the spring program attendees' questions during the various Q&A sessions. There were many interactive sessions during the program covering a wide range of topics and I felt as though there was a great overall group atmosphere, despite the program being virtual.

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • This spring insight program had to be shifted to a virtual setting due to the current COVID-19 circumstances and therefore this meant that there was no requirement for any travel fees or expenses of any kind to be reimbursed. As it was a three day program, we were not paid for attending.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • Since the program was virtual, there was no possibility of meeting any people from Citi face-to-face. However, we were able to hear from several speakers at the bank, who shared their roles at the bank and the daily tasks they do. This program allowed us to hear from a variety of people, ranging from TTS to Research Analysts to those in Trading.

    3/5

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • This spring insight was virtual and therefore did not enable us to have social event opportunities. Yet, the HR team was able to include interactive sessions for us to get to know other spring week attendees and we were also able to interact with those at Citi through partaking in Q&A sessions.

    3/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • We were able to hear from many speakers about their engagements outside of work and the community/volunteering opportunities that are available and the volunteering projects that are possible to do. Also, we heard about the different networks that exist and the possibility of getting involved in these, that vary immensely.

    5/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • I believe this spring insight program was an excellent experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. Despite the short time span, I learned an immense amount during the three days and all of the knowledge I gained will certainly benefit me in preparation for my career and when applying to internships and graduate roles.
