About You
Real experience, positive and progressive workforce.Amazing to see what the business environment was actually like. All employees loved working for the business and actually wanted to be there! Would definitely recommend to a friend or another student (I was working in finance in the UK) . Amazing again, as mentioned.
Very valued. I was able to attend real life SWOT meetings and actually see what I had learnt from a text book in real life. Staff let me look at the end of year Financial report and check through mistakes, so much responsibility which I loved from the company. !
A lot! I had a manager who supported me and made sure I gained everything that I wanted to from the experience. My manager explained all the accrymns to me and made sure I furthered my understanding within the aerospace sector. Amazing managers that want to see you thrive !
My team work, communication and data analytical skills improved in which I can now use this int team work. I have also realised that I love the aerospace industry and want to work in the industry within the future. These skill have also helped me within everyday life as well as Uni.
The Company
Insight was well structured and my manager had a schedule for me which allowed me to see full business operations throughout the week. The day enabled me to also work by myself, gaining valuable business experience as I was able to experience what it is like to be an actual employee
Such a progressive and fun environment! Employees want to be there and love being there! CEO has a positive and motivating impact. I would love to work there in the future as definitely a positive and amazing working atmosphere! Very inspirational and motivational! All employees show gratitude towards the dynamic business.
The company enabled my self-development and professional development, enabling me to become more organised and professional. Rolls royce invested time and patience in me, showing me how to use the software and explaining the financial accounts, enabling me to understand the task clearly and thrive from the skills I gain in it.

I understood a lot about the company culture, how fun, driven and aspirational it is. All employees are self driven and motivated, wanting to be there. Absenteeism is low. All employees thrive within their jobs, especially with managers who sit next to employees, showing equal level of hierarchy within the workplace.
Yes. It has made me realise that I definitely want a job within the aerospace industry. I also enjoy finance however, want it on the side of another role. This supported my placement application as I was able to focus upon the specific industry when applying and role specific. !
Everything Else
I was unpaid and not reimbursed however, this was a voluntary experience that I got myself ergo, did not ask or expected to be reimbursed. I also had a family member who lived locally to the area ergo, I stayed with her and drove. I imagine the business may have paid expenses.
Opportunities to meet individuals from different departments and higher managers. I spoke to staff who dealt with treasurer and governmental issues and learnt about their role. This was fascinating as I did not know their role existed so was exciting to see! I was the only student at the time.
Opportunities were amazing. It is a business that gift you opportunities but at the same time, you have to seek them. If I had more time, I would have liked to have visited other departments however, I was only in the business for four days. However, I met a few contacts.
Yes. Many social events, organised on social media. Employees within departments were all friends and interested in peoples lives. Managers were extremely friendly and understanding and they position themselves on the same level of hierarchy as employees. Social life seemed amazing and exciting, what it should be within a business !
I would recommend this to a friend interested within the aerospace industry especially if an individual is unsure of what career industry or role to partake in. So many opportunities within the business and quick career progress! Amazing would definitely recommend and would like to work for the business again!
