The Role
Absolutely loved my placement. It has been invaluable.
My team have been super supportive, especially my manager. I have been listened to and been able to have an actual impact on the business.
My manager and colleagues have given me so much support. This has really given me the platform to springboard off into my career.
My department is very fasted paced. I am fully involved in the day to day running of the business. That sometimes means working longer than you may want to.
So much responsibility but well supported at the same time. If you want it, and you prove yourself, it is there.
My training and skills have been invaluable.
The Company
Universal is a fun and exciting place to work.
The early careers department, including interviews and the programme are fairly disorganized. Once you are in your team, it is fine. But I would go to my team for support, rather than early careers.
I could do whatever training I felt necessary. I attended lunch and learns, and there was always opportunities to improve your skills.
Flexi Time
Travel loan
Less so in my role in legal. I need to complete professional courses before being able to apply to a role internally.
The Culture
Lots of drinks and fun times.
London is fairly expensive, but there is a Spoons round the corner from the office.
You're right next to Soho - it is great.
Lots of options, if you can think of it, it was there.
