About You
I very much enjoyed the spring insight. Even though the insight was delivered virtually, I gained a great amount of information about Bank of America and an insight into the many different line of businesses available to work in. It was a great experience which helped me better understand the way Bank of America operates.
The information received helped me to understand which line of business that I am more suited to and gave me an in-depth knowledge about the roles available. This will help me in the future when applying for summer internships and graduate roles as I will have a better understanding of what I am applying for.
The Company
The insight was structured very well. Each session began with an introduction and a timetable of what will be covered during it. The sessions ran on time and covered a broad range of aspects such as the divisions, the culture in each division and the bank as a whole and a panel session.
The insight included panels with speakers ranging from managing directors to analysts. Hearing from this diverse group of employees enabled me to understand the full time roles available and the responsibilities involved. I was able to hear about how career progression works in Bank of America and the varying responsibilities associated with each role.
From the way that the speakers talked about their job and division, you were able to get an idea about the culture in Bank of America. Everyone was passionate when speaking about their job and division. Also, there were sessions included specifically on the Bank of America culture, where employees spoke in depth about it.
Thee biggest thing that I gained from this insight at Bank of America was that it helped me to make a decision on which line of businesses were suited to me and my skills and which were not. The content was presented in an engaging and informative manner, making it easy to follow how each line of business operates.
Everything Else
This insight was complete virtually.
This insight was virtual so you could not directly speak to employees. However, the spring insight participants were able to ask questions to the panellists.
Yes, Bank of America encourages community engagement in a variety of ways and this was explained to the spring insight participants during the insight. During this session, the employees spoke about the activities they have personally been involved in and how it benefited them and the communities which were involved.
Yes. If you would like to understand more about the roles at Bank of America as well as it's line of businesses, this insight is a great way to do this. Also, you will better understand the culture at Bank of America, which you cannot experience from reading articles online. You have to be there to fully appreciate it.
