The Role
Really enjoyed it! Everyone was helpful and kind and I learned a lot!
We all made a lot of new friends!
HR was always there to answer any questions and guide us through the programme!
We had a very busy schedule which I enjoyed.
We weren't given responsibility but that was not expected either. It was an insight and those of us who were lucky were asked questions by the analysts we were shadowing which we had to solve!
Not only did I learn about investment banking but also about networking in the first session of "Networking for Success"
The Company
We always had something exciting ahead of us!
I thought it was very well organised and well planned in the way that it was never us sitting through too many talks at a time. It was well balanced between us listening to other people talk and actually being able to participate in activities.
A lot of time and effort was put into making this week for us so I would say RBS invested quite a bit in us. A lot of people gave up time and prepared for us to be there.
Hopefully I got a summer internship out of it! If not, I will apply again!
