The Role
I loved my placement year, I was offered a great level of support from a number of people, and I'll be very sorry to leave. I have become close friends with a large number of other interns, and I gained valuable professional experience to take back to Uni with me.
I was given a lot of responsibility and felt part of the team from day 1. I was always consulted on my opinion of things, and people valued by marketing knowledge gained from Uni
As previously mentioned I was given excellent support both personally and professionally by my management - I had fortnightly meetings to check I was doing okay, which was really helpful.
It ranged over the year, but I would describe the workload as steady. I would never have nothing to do, but I would very rarely be snowed under
I was given a lot of responsibility and allowed to own my own projects throughout the year
The role wasn't quite right for me, however I learned excellent communication skills that I can take into future jobs with me
The Company
Hugely positive, relaxed, friendly, and fun. Everyone always helped each other out and shared jokes throughout the day. Always lighthearted
Brilliantly organised, always provided with a great amount of info and help from application right through to leaving
The company left it down to ourselves to do training but provided us with the relevant materials, asking us ti complete a certain amount if 'hours' on the online training platform.

Very high. I have applied to the Grad scheme as I would love to stay here
The Culture
Hugely. There were around 100 interns out our branch alone, and always plenty of social events and chats where you can make friends. I am very close with a number of other interns now
I lived at home as I am local, so n/a
Winchester has a number of bars and pubs but limited clubs. People tended to do house parties too. Southbank would be much better
Lots of sports and clubs at the clubhouse at Hursley
