    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I enjoyed it very much, I liked working with very friendly and patient people.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Very valued, I felt that my ideas were considered and used when appropriate. I am grateful for the trust they put in me to do my job.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I felt when I was in the office I was helped a lot. It became a little bit harder when we worked from home but if I had queries they were answered. I only wish I was given more tasks as I sometimes found it hard to come up with my own.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • When there were supervisors to help me I was always busy. However when I was working in the office alone I often finished tasks before the end of the day and was unsure what I could do.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I felt I was given lots of opportunity for responsibility. I was always given the choice as well which I appreciated.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • There are lots of transferable skills for me even just basic ones like experiencing full time work. I am happy I got to get some qualifications as well.

  • Very friendly and welcoming attitude.

  • I felt like there was good structure and variety to my role.

  • Lots of opportunity to get qualifications and develop new skills.

  • I would consider working for BCP again, although have no plan to at the moment.

  • The salary was low but I managed alright
