About You
I thoroughly enjoyed Linklater's Virtual Links series as it was clear that it was well thought out and planned. There were various activities for participants with which to engage and I came out of Virtual Links with a greater knowledge of the firm.
I felt valued since Linklaters really made sure that Virtual Links was beneficial for its participants. They even set up virtual coffee chats in which one could talk to Graduate Recruitment, associates and trainees in a more relaxed setting.
I felt that I was very supported during the virtual experience. I reached out to Graduate Recruitment various times during Virtual Links and was quick to hear back.
Virtual Links helped me a great deal in gaining a deeper understanding of Linklaters. Additionally, I was given many tips to improve my commercial awareness and how to deal with my mental and physical health during quarantine. The understanding of Linklaters I gained helped me in an application to the firm after the scheme!
The Company
The scheme was very well structured. A schedule was sent to participants ahead of the scheme and reminders of the events were sent to Virtual Links attendees prior to their start.
The general atmosphere during the virtual experience was incredible. Everyone from Linklaters was very open and embracing. They made sure to interact with participants which was great.
The content really helped me get a better understanding of Linklaters as a firm!
Everything Else
I was not paid or reimbursed expenses. However, there were no expenses to reimburse.
There were virtual coffee chats set up in order to foster networking with Linklaters employees.
The opportunities were great as they occurred in a more relaxed setting. I feel that made it so that both participants and Linklaters employees were more comfortable.
I did find about various activities such as zumba, their retreats and pro bono.
I would definitely recommend this experience to a friend as it would enhance their knowledge of the firm.
