The Role
My internship at Box was such a good experience. The company values and the people working there are making it such a great place. They gave me the opportunity to learn a lot and gain experience in the tech industry. People there trust you and give you a chance to evolve.
The work and life balance at Box is really good. I was always busy but never overwhelmed. My managers always asked me if I had too much on my plate or if I would like to take another project depending on my workload. They are very flexible as well which is great!
The Company
The atmosphere in the office is amazing, all the different teams are very welcoming and you get to share some time with a lot of different people. Everybody is really nice and there is no feeling of hierarchy, as an intern at Box you will never feel like left out.

Working from home
A couple of months before the end of my 6 months internship with them, they actually reached out to me and offered to extend my contract for another year! I believe that Box is really a place where you can evolve and if you have the motivation they will give you the opportunity!
The Culture
Absolutely, there are a lot of opportunities to go out with coworkers or other interns. People really enjoy spending some time together outside of work to get a chance to chat or have a drink at the end of the week, they will definitely invite you when you first join the company!
The office is located in central London so no surprises.. London is very expensive but the compensation of the internship at Box is enough to rent a flat not too far and to afford having a social life. I think London is expensive but it is worth the cost because it's such a great city.
London is amazing in terms of nightlife. There are a lot of different things to do, depending on everybody's taste! You can enjoy a quiet night out or have a big party as well. All the various areas and neighbourhoods of London are worth the visit, you need to go and explore!
