About You
I thought it was a very interesting, challenging and intense experience. Together, all these aspects made the vacation scheme extremely worthwhile and fulfilling.
I felt extremely valued throughout my time at Taylor Wessing. The graduate recruitment team went above and beyond to ensure that each candidate was enjoying and coping well during the week. Moreover, each lawyer that I spoke to really made the effort to get to know me and find out what I wanted from the scheme.
I was always provided with lots of guidance and support, particularly from my trainee buddy and supervisor. The graduate recruitment team had daily check-ins and that was a good opportunity to ask any questions I had.
The skills I developed, and information you received, will assist me in many ways. I have learnt that it is important to be resiliant even when things are tough, as, in the end, I was have a great feeling of satisfaction.
The Company
It was very well structured. At times, it felt like there was a lot going on and I was feeling overwhelmed. However, once I got into a routine, it really helped.
The general atmosphere during my insight was positive. Everyone brought good energy and positive vibes, so that made the more challenging aspects of the scheme less daunting and stressful.
In terms of personal training and development, Taylor Wessing invested in me to a large extent? I learnt about lots of different practice areas and aspects of the firm.
It helped me alot. I was able to learn that there is a non-hierarchical structure and this really attracted me to a full tiem role with the firm.
I got a great insight. Through Blackfriars and interacting with lots of different lawyers, I learnt about the culture of the firm.
Very helpful! I was able to see which types of clients the firm has and what direction it wants to go in.
Everything Else
Lots of opportunities! I managed to speak to everyone that I wanted throughout the week.
Very helpful! I met lots of people outside working hours and socialised with them comfortably.
Yes, I found out about Blackfriars.
Definately!
