    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Highly enjoyable. The graduate team and firm in general were able to adopt well to remote working. We were still able to network and participate in socials.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • It was hard to get work within my practice area. However I still believe trainees and associates were genuinely keen to know more about me and offer insights into life at the firm.

    • Everyone was extremely supportive. Emails were responded to quickly and no question felt too silly to ask. Feedback was very useful and often given.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • Greatly increased my commercial awareness in general. I was also able to learn a lot more about many practice areas not just the one I sat in. Networking skills also improved due to advice and ample opportunities to meet new people.

    • Very well structured considering the remote working circumstances. Schedule was full throughout the week.

    • Everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming. Everyone including partners are approachable and will do their best to make time for you. Firm is very social and I never felt excluded.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Yes but it was difficult to establish own meetings given busy schedule.

    • Hard to do online when there are nearly 30 people in one session. But I believe it was still well organised.
