The Role
Hard work but very enjoyable. Everyone had time for me so I have time for them.
Everyone was really friendly and it seemed that they asked me to do work for the benefit of the firm - just not forcing me to read.
Always there to help. If wasn't present, other people would check up on me.
Good balance, I didn't take on too much work and when I wasn't busy I was able to source other work.
A large amount. I was taken to court and assigned a note-taking task. My work was analysed to check that it was correct but then would go out to a client.
The placement put the skills that I had learnt on the LPC into a practical setting.
The Company
Friday drinks trolley and charity night-out were particular highlights. Very social and friendly.
We had detailed plans of what we were doing so could organise our workload around that.
Work similar to what trainees were doing.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Room for progression, varied practice areas.
The Culture
There were a few social events although we were all busy throughout the week so I woulnd't have wanted more.
Grad rec paid for our drinks when we went out which was perfect. Accom was sorted through family so free. Others on the scheme had to pay for hotels.
Didn't really have time for any of it. Pretty good from the one night we had out.
Various sporting and charity opportunities but we didn't have time.
