The Role
I was given a variety of tasks to do and kept well informed about the value and purpose of the work I was carrying out. The people were very friendly and I was well looked after.
Not only was evryone very nice, but they were always thankful for the work I put in and gave me work which had value to what they were doing rather than menial tasks just to keep me occupied.
Everything was clearly expalined to me and they understood my circumstances (not having studied law) and supported me accrodingly - helping me through the work and not putting em under too much pressure.
The talks were excellent and time was always made for me to go. Deadlines were never too tight, and it was always clearly explained that some work was of a low priority and did not necessarily need to be completed if I had been given other tasks to complete. I was never asked to work too late and was not put under pressure to do any more than I was capable of.
Difficult to say. Although I was not overly responsible for anything too important, the responsibilty was appropriate for my ability and interest.
Not only knowledge about the job, but through having time to look through documents, ask questions, and research what interested me, I was allowed the opportunity to seek areas of development which had value for me and which I was personally seeking to develop from this placement.
The Company
Everyone was very friendly. Obviously a professional work environment was maintained. However, I felt genuinely well looked after and as though people genuinely enjoyed the work they did and where they worked and had a genuine interest in sharing that enjoyment with me and too a genuine interest in accomodating me and answering my questions.
Clear induction. Handy timetable given, and continual support from Grad. Rec. Fantastic work.
As well as the pay they were keen to look after me in terms of expenses, socials, and even offering food and drink with every session. They were also keen to ensure I understood all areas of the firm and that I was given opportunities to work on several areas of law, a variety of tasks, and a wide range of contexts to work.

Not sure yet if I have a place. Would love to work for them though; and they ahve a clear career development programme in place.
The Culture
We all got along very well and would meet for lunches, drinks, and socials (even some which were not organsied by the firm).
Is an expensive area - London always is!
Didn't sample any - so nsure. Seemed to be options about though.
A few things were mentioned and a social coincided with a charity event, but this could have been promoted more.
