The Role
Th experience exceeded all expectations! It was a fantastic experiences with lots of opportunities and responsibility. Some of the highlights included attending customer events and attending quarterly team meetings in Europe. From the beginning I had a mentor and coach that provided a wealth of knowledge and advice on how to be successful at Intel. Personal development is prioritized and if you're ambitious the opportunities are endless!
My team praised me and gave constructive feedback regularly. This was highly engaging and motivating. You are seen as an equal employee, not an intern, which was really important to making me feel valued.
Bi-weekly 1.1's with my manager, supervisor, coach and mentor. I had massive levels of support which is exactly what you want as a young professional.
My days were occupied for around 80%. This allowed me to focus on my development and projects across the business.
I was so shocked with how much responsibility I had! But this increased at a good pace throughout my internship so I never felt overwhelmed. You are expected to add value and you are considered as an employee with specific responsibilities. I felt so empowered by my work :)
So many skills are developed! Using tools, presenting, communication, negotiation, the list is endless! I feel as if I am going into my final year with confidence and determination to be my best.
The Company
Upbeat and supportive. All employees want to support you and assist you with your journey at the company. There is an open door policy to meeting and chatting to employees.
Very well organised. Intel have a god volume of applicant every year. The organisation is very supportive and prepared for the interns.
Invested in you from the start! This is shown through the amount of training sessions that are hosted, and the opportunities present.
