The Role
I really enjoyed my placement year at Samsung. I had the opportunity to learn many business skills as well as soft skills. Also, I was able to expand my interests across different departments and with different people.
Working in Samsung Europe Office was a very important experience for me as I was able to work with people coming from different backgrounds than mine, but that they were still able to understand me and value me. Also, after a few months in the business, the team really started treating me as part of a family. I was able to discuss with my colleagues both work-related and life matters.
Both HR and my manager have been supporting and guiding me during the whole process. The training, as well as the mentoring that Samsung has offered me, has been fantastic.
After just few months in the business, my team was already treating me as a normal member. My manager trusted me and he gave me different important tasks that were relevant to the performance of the business. I was also asked to use my creativity and my imagination to bring value to the business.
I am 100% confident that the skills I have trained and developed during my 12 months in Samsung, won't just help me in my degree studies, but also in my future career.
The Company
Absolutely friendly!
Since the first week, Samsung invested in me and all the other new entries. We were offered to attend different workshops to develop both soft and technical skills.
