The Role
9. Allowed me to develop skills whilst still having responsibility and making a difference in my team and wider in the organisation. Lots of opportunities to network and expand the opportunities i had during my placement year
8. Highly, due to the various tasks and necessity of the tasks i was asked to complete. Varying from presenting ideas to customers, to work on internal data development and analysis.
7. Month of on boarding taught me the skills necessary to complete daily role. Management and supervisors worked with me on a daily basis to improve my knowledge of company strategy. Then had opportunity to present this at a later stage of my internship
7. Day to day role allowed flexibility in undertaking projects that interested me such as finance and sales work.
9. Day to day role included opportunities for forecasting with senior managers. Emphasis on independent working and creating data points which were used by various stakeholders at HPE. Organizing and running events, for the UK&I.
10. Strong emphasis was put on developing soft skills such communication and teamwork. Training was specific to my university studies around the global economic understanding required.
The Company
10. A strong intern cohort and friendly atmosphere where people are happy to help with any questions or queries
7. Onboarding process was a little intensive, some confusion around what the company does and no real product specific training
4 development days across the year. Personal mentor who would give advice and interest.
Sports and Social Club
Working from home
Various grad role opportunities in each department.
The Culture
Yes, there was a social team who would come up with events and kept these going during the covid impacts
Dependant on which office you worked at. London could be expensive, however reading/ bracknell was affordable
Like most places, it was who rather than what. Strong intern culutre meant nightlife was enjoyable.
Various opportunities, including volunteering, fundraising, social events, team drinks
