The Role
The flexibility of the company. my role as an intern was in sales but the company encouraged me to get involved elsewhere so that i can get as much exposure as possible.
Very valued. The culture of this company is great and even as an intern, they take you seriously and really listen to your ideas which is great.
The support was amazing, there were many time where i needed support with my work but luckily in the company there are so many people to get help and advice from. From interns to senior managers, there is always support available which really boosted my confidence in my role
The role is flexible, you have the day to day task you know you should be doing and from then on you may get additional tasks that come up which is great. Equally, you can easily get more work by approaching so many people in the business and ask what you can do to help out. This in turn keeps you busy and increases your network at the same time.
A respectable amount. The work i did was very important to my team and the my day to day task are heavily relied upon which makes me feel greatly valued.
Skills for life. I came into this role with very little experience in full time work, let alone the corporate working environment. I have learnt and developed so much as an individual from the help and coaching of so many people at HPE. I'm way more proactive, organised and competent in the work I do. This will prove to be hugely beneficial going into my final year and my future in general.
The Company
Great atmosphere, great vibe. Not like the typical office you'd expect.
Very well. I always knew what i was doing and was made aware of the various opportunities to get involved with.
A lot. I got so much time with so many people. Doing 1-1 training and getting involved in sales training programmes which will be hugely beneficial for me.
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Great. Obviously with Covid-19 things aren't the same but wont affect us hugely. Generally, if you have a good internship and make a name of yourself, you'' easily get a graduate job if you really want one.
The Culture
Great. So many social events with the intern cohort, also with the sales team, team breakfasts, team lunch, Christmas party which is huge. Social aspect is amazing.
London is expensive especially on intern salary. Luckily, i lioved with my family so i didnt have to pay rent which can be a lot. Food and drinks are more costly than other cities.... but it's London, best city in the country! You get what you pay for.
Great, so many options. But can be expensive.
